A New Direction

Our house, but no longer home

June 28 2019 was a very important date for us. That was my official last day of work – EVER! I am officially retired (Claudia retired in April). Also, we closed on the sale of our house. I was here since 1987. Claudia and I married in 1999 and raised a daughter here. In 2003, we decided to try camping, so we bought three sleeping bags, a tent, and set off for the weekend. We ended up having a great time, except for having to sleep on the ground.

One of my favorite sites at Pokagon State Park

A week later we had a new little popup. After moving up to a larger popup, we realized that wandering IN, IL, WI, MI, and KY was fun and we did see and do a lot, but that left 43 more states left to wander, and we decided that this was going to be our retirement – see the US from an RV. At the top of the page, you will see our new FORD F350 that will pull the new Grand Design 310GK. We are sitting in a nice little RV park in Lakeville IN prepping the RV for travel. In about two weeks, the adventure begins.
